Crews and turf
Join a crew or found your own, manage members, claim turf and call backup.
A crew (the game also calls it a gang) gives you turf income, backup in a fight and people to play with. You can be in one crew at a time.
Open the Gang panel from the menu to see your crew, its members and the crew list.
The three city crews
Three crews already run the city. Walk to an HQ's front door and press E to join (only while you are not in a crew).

Found your own crew
In the Gang panel, pick a name (3 to 18 characters) and one of 8 colours. Founding a crew costs $5,000. If the server turns the name down, you get your money back.
Roles

Kicking a member and disbanding ask you to click twice, so you do not do it by accident. If the founder leaves, the first admin takes over (or else the longest-standing member).
Joining a player crew
Ask to join
Press ASK TO JOIN in the crew list, or Ask to join on a member's player card. The founder or an admin accepts or declines.
- A request stays open for 48 hours.
- You can have up to 5 open requests.
- After a no, you can ask the same crew again after 10 minutes.
Invites
The founder or an admin can press Invite to crew on your player card. Accept and you are in. An invite lasts 24 hours.
Joining or founding a crew means leaving your old one and cancels your other requests. Missed something while you were offline (accepted, kicked, disbanded)? You see it the next time you log in.
Leaving
Press Leave gang (forfeits turf) in the Gang panel. All the turf you hold is lost.
Turf
The city is split into blocks, and every block has a flag at its corner.
Claiming a block
- Walk to a flag that is not yours and press E.
- Defenders come at you: 3 from a rival crew's block, 2 locals on an unclaimed block.
- Beat them. Do not go more than 70 m from the flag, or the claim is off.
- The block is yours: $200 and Respect XP.
Members of the three city crews cannot claim their own crew's blocks.
Turf income
Every block you hold pays $12 a minute, plus $30 a minute for every full 5 blocks. It is paid every minute while you play. Income counts at most 20 blocks ($360 a minute): you can hold more, and every block counts on the map and the leaderboard. If you do nothing for more than 2 minutes (AFK), turf pays nothing until you are back (see income limits).
Raids
While you hold turf, a rival crew raids one of your blocks every few minutes with 3 raiders. You have 90 seconds to defend it:
- Win: $200 and Respect XP.
- Lose: the block goes to the raiders.
Backup
Press H (or Backup in the menu) to call two armed homies. They fight cops and rivals near you for 45 seconds. Backup is free, needs you to be in a crew, and is ready again after 60 seconds.
