Player cards

Every player has a card. Open it:

  • Mouse: right click the player (their name tag or their body). Left click is always an attack, so a right click never starts a fight.
  • Touch: tap their name tag.

The card shows their name, level, crew, whether they have PvP on, and whether they are online (friends also see the district). From the card you can:

  • Add friend, accept or decline a request, or unfriend
  • Message them
  • play an emote at them
  • Invite to crew or Ask to join their crew
  • Block or Report them

Friends

Press O (or Friends in the menu). The panel has three tabs: Friends, Requests and Blocked.

  • Send a request from a player's card. If they already asked you, you are friends at once.
  • You can have up to 200 friends.
  • Online friends show the district they are in.

Messages

Send a private message from a player's card or the Messages button in the menu. A message chip on screen tells you when something new arrives.

  • A message is up to 200 characters.
  • A stranger can send you 3 messages until you reply or become friends.
  • Deleting a conversation only removes your copy.

Chat

Press Enter (or C on foot, or Chat in the menu) to chat with everyone online. Enter sends, Esc cancels.

  • Up to 200 characters per message. Your message also shows as a bubble over your head.
  • Type /who to see who is online.
  • Sending too fast shows Slow down.

Voice chat

Talk to players near you with proximity voice chat.

  1. Open the menu and switch Voice: off to Voice: on. Allow the microphone when your browser asks.
  2. Hold V to talk (on a phone: hold Hold to talk). The button shows Voice: LIVE while you speak.

You hear players within about 60 m, and they get quieter the further away they are.

Emotes

Press G for the emote wheel, then 1 to 5:

KeyEmote
1Wave
2Dap
3Dance
4Point
5Salute

Players within 40 m see it. An emote aims at the player whose card is open, or else the nearest player. You also find emotes on player cards and under Emotes in the menu.

Blocking and reporting

Block (on the player card, click twice to confirm) works both ways: no messages, friend requests or crew invites between you, and you no longer see their emotes. Find blocked players under the Blocked tab in Friends.

Report a player from their card. Pick a reason (Spam, Harassment, Cheating, Scam, Offensive name, Other) and add a note if you like. The report includes the last few messages they sent you, so the team can see what happened.
