Businesses and land
Buy businesses and land, build on your plots and collect passive income.
Businesses and buildings earn money while you play. Buy them once, collect the income whenever you pass by. If you do nothing for more than 2 minutes (AFK), they pause until you are back (see income limits).
Businesses
Four businesses in the city are for sale. Walk to the door and press E.

At Casino Oro, E opens the tables (anyone can play), so use B to buy the casino or collect from it.
Collecting income
Income from businesses and buildings piles up in one pot, up to $50,000. Collect it:
- at the door of anything you own: press E, or
- with the COLLECT button.
B at a business or a lot you own opens its management panel.
Land plots
There are 20 plots of land in the city. Each one has a FOR SALE sign. Some need a minimum total level, shown on the sign (for example FOR SALE L15).

Walk up to the sign and press E. Bare land costs $3,000, and you can build on it right away. You need a connection to the server to buy land.
You can own at most 2 plots. Players who owned more before this rule keep them, but can not buy another.

- House: rest inside to heal to full, for free.
- Cafe, Store and Shop: other players can buy goods there (coffee, snacks, med kits, body armor). You get 60% of every sale.
- Tower: has a business office with a PORTFOLIO button that lists everything you own, with its income and a GPS button to get there.
Remodel
Open your lot with B to change it:
- Remodel to a pricier building: you pay the difference.
- Remodel to a cheaper one: free.
- Repaint: free.
- Demolish: no refund.
Plot tax
Every plot pays a small tax: 1% of its value a week, charged once a day (a seventh of it) from your cash. The value is the land plus the building at today's prices:

The first tax is due the day after you buy. Your lot panel shows the tax, the time of the next charge and anything unpaid. The Tower's portfolio shows the total.
Auctions
Plots also change hands at live auctions (Auctions in the menu). The city keeps a few free plots at auction at all times. An auction runs 8 minutes. Bids open at $500 and go up by at least $250. A plot you lead an auction for counts toward your 2 plots.
On the map, free plots are outlined in green and plots at auction in amber.
Finding your property
Press K to set a GPS route to your nearest property. Press it again to clear the route.
