$GTAa: the game token

$GTAa is the game's token on Solana, launched on pump.fun.

Always check the mint address before you buy anything. Anything with another address is not the game token.

Your wallet in the game

Sign in with a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and others) to tie your account to your wallet. Signing in only signs a short text message: no transaction, no fee, no access to your funds. See Start playing.

Only wallet accounts can use the Exchange. Guest accounts cannot.

The $TTWO Exchange

The Sunset Stock Exchange in GLASSTOWN is where you will trade gUSD you earned for $TTWO, a token on Solana. Walk in through the doors and press E, or press Exchange in the menu.

How it works

It is an exchange, not an airdrop: nothing is ever sent to you unless you press Exchange.

1. You play and earn gUSD. Only money you earn yourself, while you are actively playing, counts. Story rewards, trades with other players and gifts do not.
2. The rate locks every day at 00:00 UTC. The team puts a pool of $TTWO up for the day. The rate is that pool divided by all the eligible gUSD players acquired.
3. You get an offer for 24 hours: your eligible gUSD times the locked rate. Exchange all of it (MAX) or any part.
4. Exchanging erases the gUSD. It is taken from your balance and gone. The $TTWO is sent to your wallet, usually within about 10 minutes. The panel shows the status and a Solscan link.
5. What you do not exchange rolls over into the next day. It counts again next to your new earnings, but it also makes the next rate lower for everyone.

rate  = TTWO in the day's pool / eligible gUSD of all players
offer = your eligible gUSD x rate

Example: players acquired 1,000 gUSD and the day's pool is 100 TTWO. The rate locks at 0.1 TTWO per gUSD. A player who acquired 100 gUSD may exchange it for 10 TTWO.

The panel also shows the last 14 locked rates, what you acquired today, your carry, and every exchange you made. Every payout is public on Solana.

Swap $TTWO to $GTAa

The Exchange has a second tab to swap $TTWO for $GTAa. The trade is routed by Jupiter and signed in your own wallet: the game never holds your tokens.

Until both tokens are live, the swap shows No route right now.

The player crypto market

The Crypto tab of the market lets players trade cars and rare items for the token, directly with each other: the buyer pays the seller, and 5% goes to the game treasury. Each player can have up to 10 listings.

This market switches on only when the team has the token set up on the game server. Until then you trade with gUSD on the normal market.
